Your death struck us all by surprise. Never would one have thought I would see the day you would pass away. In 2005 you shared your lovely voice with your first studio album "FRANK". Your album caught the attention of folks worldwide. UNITED KINGDOM to UNITED STATES, UNITED STATES to JAPAN, and so much more. With the voice of a black heavy-set women you left folks in awe. How could such a voice come from such a women. Dainty and frail yet could draw a room of ten million to silence. While gaining fame for your wonderful voice, we were introduced to some of your flaws.

Despite your obstacles you allowed us into your world sharing your brilliant voice. We may never know what entirely drove you  to your addiction. And we can not point fingers at people. But we can use this time to inform ourselves and bring awareness to the subject of addiction. Addiction is more than a sickness and it affects everyone -- family, friends, the person of addiction themselves etc. However, what we can do is focus on the amazing memories we gained as she graced our lives musically, emotionally, or any other way she touched us.

I can surely I was in utter shocked and cried when I heard the news. It's extremely hard when you lose someone fighting such a heavy thing such as addiction. It's a battle which is hard. Some are stronger than other and do overcome and some don't (unfortunately). But we can assure ourselves that AMY is in a safe, secure,  peaceful place. A place far from the tabloids, media, gossip and what not. You're finally at ease. Although, we have lost one of the most talent musicians of our time. We must remember, we can not lament on the "should  of's", "would of's", or "could of's" but we should use this time to think of the better time shared and acquired when she was alive. Our condolences by us her listeners are heard worldwide by her family.
