It always seems like I always have an excuse however they're always legit. I've been uber busy loads of things. Because I don't blog as much as I should or would like to I have created a new section called CREP CHECK. CREP CHECK are post about my recent wears in shoes and outfit originated from the UK GRIME SCENE so I thought why not create my own section. Today's kicks are the NIKE AIR PRESTIGE II SHOE - STYLE # 318973. There a size 8 I believe in men. I bought them in 2010 and love them. They make my feet look small... not to say my feet are big. However, I just like them. I wish I would of taken a picture of my outfit but my legs look great.

Your death struck us all by surprise. Never would one have thought I would see the day you would pass away. In 2005 you shared your lovely voice with your first studio album "FRANK". Your album caught the attention of folks worldwide. UNITED KINGDOM to UNITED STATES, UNITED STATES to JAPAN, and so much more. With the voice of a black heavy-set women you left folks in awe. How could such a voice come from such a women. Dainty and frail yet could draw a room of ten million to silence. While gaining fame for your wonderful voice, we were introduced to some of your flaws.

This always happens! I blog for a while, something comes up, and then I'm M.I.A. Wow! Brief updates: I graduated high school. I'm out that bitch! #Swag,  I'm going to university in the UK another swag update, and last two weeks time I maybe leaving and... I'll be turning 18. Finally! A taste of legalization. So far I'll enjoying my stay in NYC. Been good and tons of work. So all is well. Can't complain! Back to the post, while on FACEBOOK checking for updates I came across a status from LONDON DJ and STYLIST SARAH YOUNG that she was in need for an assistant with her stay in NYC for a shoot for 2020 MAGAZINE MUSIC ISSUE. Of course because it was SARAH YOUNG, I was like "HELL FUCKING YEAH!". Shot them an email, an a few hours later I got a response. Excited I was when I found out I'd be working with SARAH. I heard about her probably like a year and a half ago by her blog. And I was like "SHE'S SO DOPE!". Would put up the video I took may take a while to edit.Check out the few pictures taken via my BLACKBERRY.

In my post MINDLESS RAMBLINGS: A SINGLE GIRLS DATING CHECKLIST , I talked about I'M BOY CRAZY's ALEXI CELINE WASSER list on guys every girl should at least date once and created my own list. Because the list CELINE WASSER created was long I had to actually take out time and think about this list and wanted to make mine long as well. So check it out!

On a hot summer day in NYC with weather of 86 degrees this calls for some heavy duty shopping. Thrifting! So my friends and I headed out to the nearest GOODWILL to do some shopping. While shoppping, I came across these lovely JEFFREY CAMPBELL BLACK MESHER shoes. When I first saw them it was love at first site and usually I don't believe in crap like that but in shoes, clothes, accessories etc I do. Those mesh shoes with cut-outs on both side and open-toed with the zipper in the back. Plus they were like 4 inches heels with a 1 inch platform in the front. What!? And you know I could barely walk in heels so this was like heaven to me.

So while on FACEBOOK I came across this really cool shirt that had SHABBA RANKS on it. I was like "THAT'S A REALLY HOT SHIRT". Because I really liked the shirt it called for some research on the brand that makes the shirt. From my research, I found out it was by a LONDON based line called RANKS LONDON. Being that I do heavy thrifting for my garms and love things that have 90's/ CARIBBEAN/ AFRICAN appeal I quickly fell in love with the shirts. Funny thing is that I'm NIGERIAN-AFRICAN and influenced by CARIBBEAN things. Now back to the topic, what was even more cool was the fact it had SHABBA RANKS on it. So fly! Just last year the shirt line was featured on HYPEBEAST Can I get a "SHABBA"? SHABBA!

Early this morning after a good breakfast I sat and watched some tv. Before I get into the story, yesterday I switched from iO to VERIZION's FIOS and I got loads of new channel. One of them being HBO. So I changed the channel to HBO to see what the channel has to offer. I don't watch tv much and rarely watch films unless I really like it or have done research. While checking out the channel, SPICE WORLD comes on. I absolutely lost it!

It's been two weeks since I posted anything because I've been super busy with school, final exams, and graduation rehearsal . Yessir! You heard right. I'm graduating. I'm on to bigger and better things but we can discuss that in another post. I decided to change it up with the throwbacks and do a song I absolutely loved when I was younger and still like. The 1999's enter 2000 was an good decade.VELOUR SUITS and all with the matching kicks and shirt! Fly boi! This was literally the song in 2000. As embarrassing as it may sound I use to own a VELOUR SUIT. But it gets even worse it was PINK.

Happy Birthday homie! Such a boss moment circa 2010. November 22, 2010 was a good day. The album came out MOE and I headed to BEST BUY to pick up the album. And don't get me started on how good it was. Pfff! By the way at the time I didn't have a BLACKBERRY. This was taken by MOE. My phone name  can't even be disclosed because it was so bad.

Last week Thursday, I was out shopping for some shoes and I happen to come across one of the most beautiful, simplistic, and must I say comfortable wedges and take into consideration I rarely shoes. I'm a avid sneaker wearer. So these sandals must be good. The shoes are called DKNYC MARGRET WEDGE SANDAL. Didn't get to buy them but they were so cute and $99.00 and come in four colorways GREY, NUBUCK, BLACK and TAN. I want them so bad! I fell in love with them as soon I saw them.

Frank Ocean ain't got nothing on me and my mean car collection. I always see these cars around my way and they look so fly. I want them! You're probably thinking how can this be called BLACKBERRY DIARIES if  these are POLAROIDS but actually they are BLACKBERRY photos. They looked funny so I used a little something to alter the photo.

ROBYN just yesterday released her video for the second single off her 2010 album BODY TALK PART 2. The video is sick and I love ROBYN'S moves. Girl can dance. My friend TIFFANY and I always talk how ROBYN was dancing during the 2010 MTV VMA'S and she plays no games when she dances. Love!

How do I start this off? Well the name says it all but with more insight on what GIRL CRUSH is. GIRL CRUSH are weekly post about girls I think are dope, bad, or whatever you would label a girl who has it. For my first post I decided to write about ROBYN. I heard about ROBYN in 2009 while on vacation in the UK and I came across cousin's ROBYN album and ever since then I'm a listener of her music. Aside from her music being good, she is so fly! You can't help but like her. I am hereby labeling her GIRL CRUSH WORTHY.

Wish I was in the UK to see it. But for those in the UK check it out!

PHOTOS: DON'T CALL ME URBAN! THE TIME OF GRIME BY SIMON WHEATLEY

LAUNCH EVENT: THURS 2 JUN / 6PM / BAR / FREE

EXHIBITION- FRI 3 JUN - FRI 24 JUN / 9AM / GALLERY / FREE

DON'T CALL ME URBAN! THE TIME OF GRIME is a photographic record compiled over a 12 year period, focusing on the youth of London’s inner-city at a vital time, taking as its prism the genre of grime - the most significant and controversial musical expression to emerge from the UK since punk. Grime was essentially the UK’s own authentic response to hip hop, an angst-ridden, confrontational music conveying the hopes and frustrations of an apolitical generation locked into decaying housing estates. The book is a visual reflection of what grime represented, chronicling the conditions that spawned the genre. It is a combination of music portraiture, social documentary and architectural photography.

Had an exam yesterday and was in need of a pencil or pen so my friend GEMELIS loaned me her MARC JACOBS LIPSTICK PEN. Taking my exam in MARC JACOBS.

I should have probably been doing my work but you know I had to check up on my bad boy of a LAMBORGHINI. #justkidding However I would want a lambo.

Looking back at what I had listened to a kid growing up I can say for sure, I was bound to be a heavy UK music listener. I'm on a fucking rolling this time with the throwbacks! S CLUB 7, MIS-TEEQ, MS. DYNAMITE, and now CRAIG DAVID. I can't help but laugh at music choices. Not to say that my choices were bad but it's interesting. I heard about CRAIG DAVID while I was in Nigeria visiting my cousins in 2000 or 2001. I was watching MTV UNIVERSAL and I saw this video come on and I was like "Ohhh! He's cute". Besides him being cute, the song was good, and the video was humorous. The part where he pours the wine on the women around 3:55 is funny. If life had a rewind, press play, stop, pause button? Boy!? It would be great. And imagine being able to wake up at 11:00AM on Monday.

 I love guys! I do! I do! I do! I dooooo-oooooooh!
I Iove guys, guys, guys, guys! Guys I do adore!

Guys! Guys! Guys! What can I say? They're a mighty fine species. Although they are weird at times. You can't help but sigh when you think of them. In my post MINDLESS RAMBLINGS: A SINGLE GIRLS DATING CHECKLIST , I talked about I'M BOY CRAZY's ALEXI CELINE WASSER list on guys every girl should at least date once. Check out my list like I promised to post a few weeks ago. The part two will be posted soon.

KATY B is an artist I've been listening to for a while and just today she released her video for his single EASY PLEASE ME. Absolutely love her! The video has cute humor to it and cute guys in it. I definitely peeped that one. Especially the babe in the black and yellow snapback. Babeee?!

RAEKWON is currently on tour and he hit up CHICAGO last night. But besides hitting the stage, he apparently found time to connect and politic with Illinois Republican Senator CHRISTINE RADOGNO because during a State budget meeting today, Radogno took the floor of the Senate to quote the Wu-Tang member. She even claimed that last night Rae told her, "NOWADAYS WE ALL KNOW CASH RULES EVERYTHING AROUND US, C.R.E.A.M. GET THE MONEY. DOLLA, DOLLA BILL Y'ALL." Guess Radogno grew up on the foul side too, huh?

A few days ago I posted my list on things to do before my big move to the UK. Like I stated before in my recent I've been a listener of TINIE TEMPAH music for a while even from his first album HOOD ECONOMICS. Saturday evening my good friend MOE gave me word that TINIE would be performing at the APPLE STORE in SoHo not knowing that I was a huge listener of him. But because I thought the show was Sunday I was a tad discouraged  on going because of last minutes events. A few minutes later I checked my twitter timeline and saw that the show was on Monday not Sunday. Elated and relieved that I had the see the UK chart topper live and for FREE. Yes, F-R-E-E!

Woi! Diplo! Diplo! Diplo! *SIGH* Babeeee!?

Nickeloden use to be the shit in 90's. Ahh the memories! I remember this performance so clearly. Nasty Nas! Haha!

A few weeks ago I headed off to WEST NYC to snap some photos of the store for an upcoming online UK magazine. Recently, RAKIM teamed up with the store to make a shirt. Shirt is pretty dope! You can visit the store at the address below and pick up a shirt along with your visit.

Haha! This really sums up my summer of '09. *BUST INTO A MIGRAINE SKANK* For those who aren't aware of SKANKING. Allow me to introduce you to what it is.

Recently I got into two of the five universities I applied to. After being elated with the news I automatically had to put some victory music on. This called for some LIL B. Sheen! Winning! Swag!

No need for a full passage on this post for the title says it all. But, I'll tell you anyway what happened. While hanging out with my friends in Brooklyn we came across a man selling a shitload of cds. magazines, and books. Some old, some new and some barely used. We took a look at the books and magazines being sold. That's when I stumbled upon CODE MAGAZINE. Of course I was very happy to see CODE MAGAZINE. CODE MAGAZINE is a magazine set on documenting fashion photography. Fashion photography with real people wearing authentic styles. The magazine I picked up was their 2008 issue. Also, I have never seen CODE MAGAZINE in New York being sold so being able to purchase it for just $2 was a deal. I can't reveal my magazine/book/cd joint. Confidential information my friends!

I don't think I entirely told what's going on with me and my plans after my graduation of school. But I guess I could use this post to do just that. Ever since my trip to the UK in 2009 and being in total awe with the city of London. I made it my mission to attend university in the UK. Now a senior in high school, I've placed my applications in for 5 universities and so far 2 universities have responded to me with 1 rejection. Fuck off to the university who rejected me. You know who you are, No names need to said! Back to the topic. I am set to start university in September. I have composed a list of things I would like to do before my departure.

Last week Friday I took a quick trip to MISHKA NYC to snap some photos of the store for an upcoming online UK magazine and with my BLACKBERRY these are the photos I took. Pretty good trip along with a good chat.

In my last THROWBACK post I had said that my encounter of UK music was MS. DYNAMITE. After that I started thinking about things I use to listen to as a youth and  I realized I listened to a lot of UK Music. Which is quite funny because now that I'm older I mainly listen to UK music. When I was younger one group I couldn't get enough of was MIS-TEEQ. MIS-TEEQ came onto the US music scene around 2003 with their smash hit SCANDALOUS. I absolutely loved them unfortunately the UK girl group broke up and haven't made music ever since. I enjoyed them while they lasted but SCANDALOUS was the song. In fact in December 2010 the song was used in a GIORGIO ARMANI's ARMANI CODE FOR WOMEN perfume ad.

Huhh! What a fine make of man?  I came across RYAN GOSLING a few years back while watching REMEMBER THE TITANS and ever since then I've been in awe with his acting as well as him. He's a babe! Check out the new film he stars in called BLUE VALENTINE.

"You're young, you're beautiful and everybody wants to fuck you! -Tom Ford"

Today while indulging myself on my daily blog reads. I came across an interesting post on one of my favorite blogs called IMBOYCRAZY. Ran by ALEXI CELINE WASSER, she blogs about everything boy crazy. In this particular post called ONE OF EACH: A SINGLE GIRLS DATING CHECKLIST she gives a list in which every girl should have. Single or not single. At times I catch myself thinking or discussing with friends what it would be like dating certain guys or what kind of guys we would go after.  With summer time around the corner and university in a few months, the post struck a chord with me that I should probably create my own list. After viewing her list I realized summer 2011 is going to be babetastic and as well as that it led me to conduct my own list. Part of me is telling me to post my list up and part of me is telling me not to. Maybe I will, maybe I won't but for now check out ALEXI's checklist which is quite good.

For a while I've been very big on following interesting blogs and tumblrs and I was always intrigued by the ability of posting cool finds via smartphones. Being that I just joined the BLACKBERRY team with my purchase of the 9530 I can twitter, facebook, tumblr, and blog at anytime about any thing I see. So with further ado I present BLACKBERRY DIARIES. Blackberry Diaries is a categories which captures everything I see, think is absoluted cool or instant moments. Expect some very soon!

As kid I've always admired this woman so much. Ms.Dynamite was one of my first encounters with UK Hip Hop/Rap/Grime. At the time I didn't know what UK Hip Hop, Rap or Grime was but I loved her messages in her songs. She is a dope artist. Youth years! Dynamite has gotten older of course. However she manages to keep herself very current in music with recent work with KATY B and REDLIGHT. In fact one of the songs she collaborated on was featured on HIGHSNOBIETY.

Gary Dourdan! Oh boy. I remember watching you on my tv screen watching A DIFFERENT WORLD. Drooling and awing at your beauty. Those long brown locks, those hazel brown eyes,  your smooth brown skin, and your ever so cute Jamaican accent. But what was even more hotter about you was your knowledge about history and culture. Woi! Must I say Cree Summers was a lucky girl.

Directed by "US". Wiley releases his new video NUMBERS IN ACTION. Both the song and video are dope. Check it out!

Every time I hear this song I feel like dancing. The 90 - early 2000's was the best.

Lately I've been in need of some new music and at times I find it hard to listen to some artist or music and like it. During my search I was introduced to Odd Future's Frank Ocean by a close friend of mine. Prior to that I had never heard of Frank Ocean -- never heard his music or knew he was apart of Odd Future. As my friend was telling me about Ocean's music she recommended me to listen to one of his songs WE ALL TRY. My initial reactions was "Whaaaa?! Huh? Come again?" followed by "Oh, I like that". But I guess you say you shouldn't set expectations for Odd Future. I guess that's what makes them odd. After falling in love with the song it then led me to listen to SONGS FOR WOMEN. Frank Ocean is a member of California based rap group Odd Future also known as Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All/OFWGKTA. Listening to Ocean's album takes you by surprise. As he uses songs by The Eagles and MGMT. Ocean's sound is quite indescribable. Frank is no Cudi or Trey Songz but the fact that he sings and song writes in a manner which is odd from the Odd Future we all know  is interesting. The album is extremely good and makes you realize somethings such "Don't listen to Odd Future and be biased". Been listening to the album for a week now and I am not tired yet. Download after the cut.

Hello! Hola! Bonjour! Kedu! Ciao!  You're probably thinking "Where have you been?" and I promise you I have a good legit answer. I've been busy. Busy evaluating life, myself, the blog, etc. And after doing some serious R&R (Research & Recovery), I'm back stronger than ever. The past few months haven't been the best months nor have they been the worst months however I feel that with such things such as my college/university process, friends, school, and personal life haven't had balance. But now I do and because I have the balance that I have been looking for so far -- I am revamping the site. The site is entilted "OLLIE WAS HERE" and I have finally realized what I would like to do with it. For now the site is under construction until further notice. With this relaunch this calls for new post and a better look on whatever it is I see, hear, or think is absolutely fucking cool. Until then Adios and look out for new post.
